Our staff have the commitment, patience and understanding to work sensitively with the child/young person and other family members in supporting them through
difficult decisions and helping them make appropriate choices throughout.
Every child is unique and should be recognised as being of equal worth. Ever child has physical, mental, social and spiritual needs. These should be
developed, respecting the young person's race, culture and background.
Young people in our care are treated as an individual through participation in planning and review procedures. This includes involvement of the child/young person
if of significant age and understanding in the decision making process.
Children/young people are consulted and their wishes and feelings ascertained in matters concerning them.
